United Methodist Union Executive Director, Rev. Carol Johns

Rev. Carol Johns has served as Executive Director of the United Methodist Union since August 1, 2015. Prior to joining the Union, she served for 19 years as pastor of Orchard United Methodist Church in Farmington Hills. Throughout her ministry, Rev. Johns also served congregations at First United Methodist Church in Owosso, Christ United Methodist Church in Bay City, and First United Methodist Church in Saginaw.
A respected leader within the Michigan Conference, Rev. Johns previously served as Chair of the Detroit Annual Conference Council on Finance and Administration, bringing extensive experience in church leadership, stewardship, and financial oversight. Her decades of pastoral ministry and commitment to strengthening local congregations continue to guide the mission and work of the United Methodist Union.
